About Us

In 1932 James Ippolito rented a work bench and a soldering iron in the corner of a factory in Manhattan, and won a contract to repair an electric motor from a commercial washing machine. By 1939 James Ippolito & Co had joined the war effort, and built a reputation producing spare parts for the Department of Defense. Aerospace and defense has been a major part of our business ever since.

During the past 75 years, James Ippolito & Co has continued our tradition of innovation in manufacturing technology and earned the confidence of customers throughout the aerospace and defense industry.

Within the last five years we have made significant investment in CNC equipment, inspection instruments, and software and process control systems. We have also committed significant resources to training and development of our team of machinists, engineers and technicians.

Our newly renovated facility in Bridgeport CT features more than 30 late model CNC work centers and a state of the art inspection lab. We continue to improve our operation by initiating a new “lean” project each month.
